Tech E’s Startup Career Fair

WPI’s only student run career fair!

WPI is home to over 4,000 undergraduates, specializing in technology and engineering. We have many talented students who are eager to make an impact at innovative startup and high growth companies.

To continue to promote the entrepreneurial spirit here at WPI, we are organizing our third annual Startup Career Fair on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 10 – 4 pm. The first startup career fair in 2016 was a huge success as we were able to gather five startups that gained tremendous value from the fair and were able to hire driven, entrepreneurial students for internships and full-time jobs. Again this year, the career fair will focus on providing startups and high growth companies access to many talented students.

  • Resume Drop: Prior to the fair, candidates will be able to drop their resumes online.
  • Day-Of One-on-One Sessions: Companies will be able to select students from this pool and interact solely with them in the first section of the career fair, allowing them to spend more time with these candidates. This section will last from 10 am to noon, and companies should send invites to students for this section, before the day of the career fair.
  • Career Fair: After the one-on-one sessions, we will have a traditional career fair section for 3 to 4 hours, where candidates will be able speak to all the companies.

If your company is interested in being part of the Startup Career Fair at WPI, there is no cost to register and attend, simply contact [email protected] with your intent to register. We hope to see you there!
